International Biometric Conference

The International Biometric Conference has been sponsored by the International Biometric Society (IBS) since 1947 and represents one of the major activities of the IBS. The Society organizes a major international conference every two years.

There is something special about every IBC. Our focus on quality science and our desire to engage audiences from all regions and backgrounds are on full display. Through this very special event, we celebrate professionals and their accomplishments, as well as all of the ways in which global collaboration enhances the work that we all do.

We hope you had the opportunity to join statisticians, mathematicians, biological scientists, postdoctoral researchers, students, and interdisciplinary enthusiasts in fostering advancements in the biosciences. Over 950 of your colleagues were there!

Much more information coming soon. This conference will be jointly supported by the IBS Austro-Swiss (ROeS), German (DR), and French (FR) Regions.

Please note: An upcoming change in entry requirements may affect visa-free travel. Visit this website for more information.

Plan to join us in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia for our second African IBC! Congratulations to our Ethiopian Region and SUSAN Network of the IBS for being approved to host.
