In short

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE is a conference on engineering taking place in Tallinn, Estonia, from 16–18 Jun 2027. Submissions are open until 9 January 2027.

About this event

The emergence of innovative technologies and new business models based on innovation, cooperation networks, and the enhancement of endogenous resources, are assumed to be a strong contribution to the development of competitive economies all around the world.

ICIE’2027 will be the 6th edition of this conference in the successful series of conferences on Innovation in Engineering.

This edition of the conference is organized in Ülemiste Smart City, Tallinn, Estonia.

ICIE’2027 conference is glad to receive proposals for Special Sessions. Submissions should be made, by e-mail, through the General Conference Chair until October 31st, 2026.

This event offers a great opportunity to bring together professors, researchers, and scholars around the globe, having a great platform to deliver the latest innovative research result and the most recent development and trends in engineering and applied sciences field.

The concept of Next-Generation Intelligence (NGI) is increasingly being shaped by the convergence of multiple computational paradigms. In this context, the integration of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI), and Quantum Computing represents a transformative shift in manufacturing and additive manufacturing, enabling production systems that are more intelligent, efficient, and adaptable. Traditional manufacturing has largely relied on isolated automation and deterministic decision-making; however, Convergent AI redefines this approach by combining the creative capabilities of generative design, the computational power of quantum algorithms, and the transparency offered by explainable AI. In manufacturing, this convergence addresses critical challenges such as topology optimization, real-time defect detection, and advanced material discovery. Generative AI enables the autonomous creation of highly complex, lightweight, and performance-optimized structures suitable for advanced 3D printing applications, while quantum-enhanced machine learning accelerates material qualification, molecular simulations, the prediction of alloy behavior and thermal stresses at speeds beyond the reach of conventional computing. Equally important, XAI addresses the “black-box” nature of advanced AI systems by providing interpretable and transparent decision pathways, thereby supporting quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and human trust in high-stakes sectors such as aerospace and biomedical manufacturing. Together, the synergy of generative creativity, quantum-scale computation, and explainable intelligence is driving a transition from reactive automation to cognitive, self-optimizing manufacturing ecosystems. This convergence not only reduces product development cycles and time-to-market for complex components but also promotes sustainable, resilient, and highly personalized production. As manufacturing advances toward Industry 5.0, Convergent AI Systems are emerging as a foundational technological framework for next-generation industrial innovation, enabling agile supply chains and intelligent production environments capable of continuous learning, adaptation, and optimization.
