International Conference on Children, Youth, and Society (CYSCONF)

Present your childhood and youth research to an international academic audience, receive double-blind peer review and explore publication opportunities.

The International Conference on Children, Youth, and Society (CYSCONF) takes place in Paris, France, from 10 to 12 June 2027. It is an international children and youth conference for researchers, academics, practitioners, doctoral students and policymakers who study the lives of children and young people and the societies in which they grow up.

Childhood and youth are shaped by families, schools, communities, digital environments and public policy. CYSCONF brings these perspectives into one programme. It is a childhood studies conference for scholars who examine how childhood is understood and experienced, a youth studies conference for research on transitions, identities and participation, and a child development conference for work on growth, learning and wellbeing from the early years to adolescence. Together, these fields make CYSCONF a childhood and youth studies conference open to education, psychology, sociology, health, social work, law and related disciplines.

The conference welcomes empirical, theoretical and methodological studies, policy analysis, practice-based research and systematic reviews. Every abstract is evaluated through double-blind peer review. Accepted and registered abstracts are published in the Conference Abstract Book with an ISBN, and eligible full papers may be published in the Conference Proceedings with an ISSN and DOI.

You can give an oral or poster presentation in Paris, present live online, or attend in person as a listener. Learn more about this youth development conference, or read the call for papers to prepare a submission.

From the early years to young adulthood, and from family life to digital worlds.
