International Society and Gender Conference | Rotterdam 2027

A Gender Conference Built for Research, Dialogue, and Impact — share research, receive feedback, and build lasting academic connections.

The International Conference on Gender and Society will take place from 26–28 February 2027 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. This gender conference responds to an important academic need: gender is not only a topic within one field. By bringing these areas together, the event supports stronger research exchange and helps participants see how their work connects with wider social questions.

Participants will have the opportunity to present their work, receive constructive feedback from international experts, meet scholars with shared interests, and explore publication pathways after the review process. The programme also includes a complimentary guided tour on the second day, giving attendees a more relaxed setting to continue conversations while experiencing Rotterdam.

The gender equality conference welcomes research on gender and society from a wide range of disciplines and encourages interdisciplinary work. Submissions are organised across 14 thematic tracks spanning 320+ topics — from social change and equality to LGBTQ+ studies, education, work, health, technology, and beyond.

This gender research conference gives participants the chance to present their findings to a global academic community — especially valuable for researchers who want their work to reach collaborators beyond their own institution or country.

Presenters gain clear, practical feedback from scholars and specialists who understand the value of careful research — helping authors strengthen their arguments and methodology and prepare their work for publication.
