The International Conference on Regenerative Medicine, Stem Cell Therapy & Tissue Engineering (ICSCTE2026) is a global platform designed to bring together leading scientists, clinicians, biotechnologists, researchers, and industry innovators to explore the latest breakthroughs transforming the future of healthcare. Scheduled to be held on November 25-26, 2026 in the beautiful city of Budapest, Hungary, this two-day event will spotlight advancements in stem cell science, regenerative therapeutics, tissue engineering, biomaterials, and translational medicine.

Lukas Prantl, Prof. M.D., Ph.D., MHBA, FACS is a renowned surgeon, plastic, aesthetic, reconstructive and hand surgeon with a high international reputation. He is Professor and Founding Chairman of the Center of Plastic and Aesthetic, Hand- and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Regensburg, Medical Center in Germany. Dr. Prantl has been recognized with numerous prestigious national and international research awards. He has also chaired and participated in many national and international conferences as a faculty member. As an innovative surgeon and scientist, he has published more than 400 peer review articles and 35 book chapters. He is author of the book “Essential of Fat Grafting”, published by Springer. Prantl is a visiting Professor at the University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Stanford University, California and FUDAN University, Shanghai. He is also the founder of the Applied Stem Cell Research Center and a member of the Interdisciplinary Stem Cell team. In recent years, he focused on the harvesting of stem cells from adipose tissue (ASCs) and their clinical application for tissue regeneration. He has developed a new method for the enrichment of fat stem cells called Cell Enriched Lipotransfer (CELT) to obtain CELT and CELTPLUS for tissue regeneration and to improve the engraftment rate in fat tissue transplantation. He was President of the German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (2019-2021) and is currently President of the European Society for Clinical Microcirculation and Tissue Transplantation (2023). He is Vice President of the German Society of Surgery (DGCH), the umbrella organisation for all surgical societies in Germany, and will be President in 2028.
