Lisbon 2027 programme | EAIE

Inspired by Luminous Perspectives, the EAIE Lisbon 2027 programme is taking shape. Submit a proposal by 02 November 2026 and explore the programme from May 2027.

The EAIE Conference and Exhibition 2027 is inspired by this year's theme, Luminous Perspectives, celebrating the diverse viewpoints, experiences and ideas that drive international higher education forward. The conference programme will bring together voices from across the global community to explore emerging trends, challenge assumptions and share practical solutions for the opportunities and complexities facing our sector. Through sessions, discussions and knowledge exchange, participants will help illuminate new ways of thinking, challenge established approaches and contribute to the future of international higher education.

EAIE Lisbon 2027 coincides with important anniversaries that have helped shape international education in Europe and beyond. The year marks the 40th anniversary of the Erasmus+ programme and the 30th anniversary of the Lisbon Recognition Convention, two landmark initiatives that have transformed student mobility, academic recognition and international cooperation. As the sector reflects on these achievements and considers the challenges and opportunities ahead, Lisbon will provide a platform to share perspectives, exchange ideas and explore what comes next for international higher education.

Thank you to everyone who submitted a proposal to speak at Lisbon. The call for proposals is now closed, and we’re excited about the ideas, innovations and experiences shared by colleagues across the globe. We’ll notify all submitters of the outcome of their proposal in March.

Every proposal is different. Explore the available session formats and find the best way to share your expertise, engage participants and bring your idea to life.
