MOVE 2026

Measuring Ontologies for Value Enhancement 2026 (MOVE2026) concluded on 18 September 2026 after three days of presentations, spirited discussions, challenging questions, and bold ideas. The workshop brought together researchers and practitioners from different disciplines and created the kind of open exchange that MOVE was established to encourage.

We are grateful to everyone who presented their work, chaired sessions, contributed to discussions, and helped make MOVE2026 a success.

We are also particularly grateful to our colleagues at Henley Business School, University of Reading, and the Informatics Research Centre (IRC) for their support and participation. As MOVE2026 now enters its post-workshop phase, during which revised papers will undergo further peer review and preparation for the proceedings, we are pleased to strengthen this collaboration further.

Professor Kecheng Liu, Professor of Applied Informatics at Henley Business School and founder and Honorary Director of the Informatics Research Centre, and Dr Qi (Lecky) Li, Lecturer in Business Informatics at Henley Business School, are joining the Program Committee leadership for this phase.

Professor Liu’s work spans business informatics, information systems, digital strategy and leadership, and organisational semiotics. Dr Li’s research includes digital leadership, organisational transformation, digital competences, business informatics, intelligent data analytics, and organisational semiotics.

We are delighted that Professor Liu and Dr Li will join us in this next phase of MOVE2026, and we look forward to further collaboration between the MOVE community and the Informatics Research Centre.
