Dr. Puneet Freibott is a distinguished nurse executive and transformational healthcare leader serving as Chief Nursing Officer at Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH). She has more than 27 years of experience in executive leadership across Magnet-designated healthcare organizations, with expertise in nursing leadership, clinical operations, patient safety, quality improvement, workforce engagement, and healthcare innovation. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Nursing Leadership and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), with certifications as a Nurse Executive Advanced Board-Certified (NEA-BC) leader and Critical Care Registered Nurse – Knowledge Professional (CCRN-K). Dr. Freibott is particularly focused on advancing nursing leadership, influencing healthcare transformation, empowering nurses, integrating technology and AI into care delivery, and creating a stronger and more sustainable future for the nursing profession. She was also recently elected to the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) Board of Directors, beginning a three-year term in January 2027.
