The International AI Summit 26 | 2 December 2026, Brussels

AI in a Multipolar World: Sovereignty, Scale and the Future of Global Cooperation

Free to attend for EU institutions, national governments, intergovernmental organisations and accredited press.

For nine years, Forum Global has been bringing to Europe’s policymaking capital a gathering of senior international players operating at the cutting edge of AI policy, innovation and diffusion.

Realising that opportunity will require greater cooperation across borders. Europe moved early to put rules around AI while leaving room for innovation, but the technology, the market and the geopolitical landscape have all shifted, and continue to evolve at pace. What do those changes mean for the prospects of closer international alignment and collaboration? And what are the consequences if the balance is missed, with AI either constrained too tightly or allowed to advance faster than the rules and institutions needed to govern it?

The International AI Summit 2026 brings policymakers, industry leaders, researchers and innovators from around the world to Brussels for a full day of keynotes, panels and fireside chats: on sovereignty, compute and infrastructure, standards and assurance, and the practical work of putting AI to use.

If Britain were designing the state today, with AI available from the outset, what would it build differently?
